Our breathable fabrics have a hydrophilic coating. They breathe by absorbing moisture from the warm, high humidity
zone around your body and chemically driving it through your clothing.
The fabrics use an abrasion resistant outer shell to which the hydrophilic coating is applied. Our breathable waterproof products have taped seams, thus making them fully waterproof for coastal, inshore and dinghy sailing, as well as onshore use.
Breathable showerproof products use a hydrophilic fabric as described above, however they do not have taped seams, making them ideal for onshore use.
